Do your games cost anything?
No. Our games are free to play with no in-app purchases. Ads pay for them.
Answers to the questions we get most about our games, and a real person to email when they do not cover it.
Email hello@tarakan.app and we will get back to you, usually within two business days. Bug reports, feedback, and ideas for our games are all welcome.
The more of this you can tell us, the faster we can fix it:
No. Our games are free to play with no in-app purchases. Ads pay for them.
Only non-personalised ads with age-appropriate (G-rated) content, for every player in every country. We do not build advertising profiles or track players across apps. Where a game offers a reward for watching an ad, watching it is always your choice.
Progress is saved on your device. Our games have no accounts and ask for no personal details, so there is nothing to sign in to and progress does not follow you to a new device. Deleting a game also deletes its saved progress.
Yes, you can play without a connection. Features that reach the internet, such as ads and shared daily challenges, need you to be online.
Our games are made for a general audience that includes children. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no account, and nothing to buy, and we apply children's privacy protections to every player.
Each game has a Settings screen with its own switches for sound effects, music, vibration, and reminder notifications. You can also switch off notifications for a game in your device settings.
Only limited device and app data used to run the game, show non-personalised ads, understand gameplay in aggregate, and fix crashes. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Yes. We read every message, and player suggestions have changed what we build more than once. Email us and tell us what you would like to see.
Drag anywhere below the bar at the top of the screen to steer, and release to stop. That is the whole control scheme: there are no buttons to learn.
Cleaning 70% of the floor earns the first star and lets you move on. 85% earns the second and a spotless 100% earns the third. The first star is banked as soon as you reach 70%, so running out of battery later cannot take it away.
Two things. They rate how well you cleaned a room, and they are the currency of the house screen: you spend them on furniture for the rooms you have cleaned and on moving into the next house. Each level also carries two side challenges worth extra stars.
The battery only drains while you are moving, so it is free to stop and plan your route. Debris piles drain it faster while you clear them, and doubling back over floor you already cleaned is the most common way to run short. You can also watch an optional ad once per level to recharge, and the UV Light power-up puts charge back too.
A single room that everyone plays on the same day, with a countdown timer instead of a battery. Clean it to 100% before time runs out to keep your streak going. Missing two days in a row resets the streak, and bonus stars land at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days and beyond. The room changes at midnight UTC.
You have reached the end of the rooms we have built so far. More houses arrive in updates, and in the meantime there is a new Daily Challenge every day, plus any rooms you have not yet cleaned to three stars or fully furnished.
Yes. Settings has a Language picker with English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what our games collect and who processes it. Parents and guardians who want to know what information relates to their child's device, ask us to delete it, or refuse further collection can write to privacy@tarakan.app.
